Our Story

Tbilisi Deserved a
Real Coffee School

Georgia has one of the oldest coffee cultures in the Caucasus — but for years, anyone serious about a career behind the bar had to settle for shallow catalogue courses or expensive trips abroad. Qvari Coffee Academy was built to change that.

We combine internationally-accredited barista curriculum with the distinct warmth of Georgian hospitality and coffee tradition. Our intimate cohorts — never more than eight students — mean every graduate leaves with real hands, real confidence, and a real credential.

Whether you're changing careers, opening your own café, or simply want to understand specialty coffee at the deepest level, this is the school Tbilisi has always needed.

"Not just a certificate — a genuine transformation in how you understand and make coffee."

What We Stand For

Four Principles That Drive
Everything We Do

01

Craft Over Shortcuts

Every technique you learn at Qvari is grounded in the science of extraction and the art of the pour. There are no tricks — only deep understanding that makes you consistently exceptional.

02

Georgian Roots, World Standards

We weave the warmth and hospitality traditions of Georgia into an internationally-recognized curriculum. You'll graduate fluent in both local culture and global specialty coffee language.

03

Intimate, Outcome-Focused

A cohort of eight means every student gets hands-on time at the machine — not watching from the back row. We measure success by what you can do on your first day of work, not by the certificate you hold.

04

Community for Life

Graduating from Qvari means joining Tbilisi's specialty coffee community. Alumni get access to our network, ongoing events, and a city that's beginning to take specialty coffee seriously.
